Tarolia is being threatened by an evil wizard, Madumda, and its future may depend on a prophecy and the success of a teenage boy to fulfill it. Kieren and his two best friends soon find themselves as part of a struggle, which makes them face many dangers, their worse fears, and even their own mortality. Will the kindly old wizard, Beraut, be able to help the teenager complete his task in time, or will Madumda end up ruling the land?

This is a revised version of my sword and sorcery story, ‘Sword of Kings.’ In this edition, I’ve tried to address some of the concerns the readers brought up when they emailed me about the first posted copy. I have tried to eliminate the areas where the story seemed to drag, added a little more background to explain things that were previously unclear, inserted a little more action and tension in various places, included a few more sex scenes, and I’ve split and added chapters, to make it more readable.This story has gone from the prologue and 20 chapters, to the prologue and 37 chapters (at least as it stands now, because I’m not quite finished with it). I hope you will find it more enjoyable and entertaining in its present form.
